Control Active Slot With Cyrus and Field Blower
Cyrus forces the opponent to switch their Active, potentially bringing up a low-HP bench Pokemon for an immediate knockout. Field Blower strips protective tools from opposing non-ex attackers, ensuring Oricorio's 50-damage Zzzap threshold is enough to secure knockouts over several turns.

Deploy Non-ex Attackers Immediately
Safeguard only blocks ex Pokemon. A non-ex attacker with 60 or more damage output can pressure Oricorio through the immunity wall. Bench your non-ex threat early and promote it the turn your ex attacker would otherwise be locked out, maintaining offensive tempo.
Race Through the Healing Engine
Oricorio's trainer suite is dense but finite. If you apply constant non-ex damage, the opponent must use a healing trainer every turn. Eventually the hand runs dry. Use Copycat after the opponent plays multiple trainers to mirror a thin hand and accelerate that depletion.
Target Oricorio With Giant Cape-Ignoring Attackers
