Iron Bundle ex wins by using Cold Start on its first attack after entering play to deal 80 damage and Paralyze the opposing Active, then following up with a knockout. The deck rotates multiple Iron Bundle ex copies through the active slot to trigger the first-attack bonus repeatedly.
You open by placing Iron Bundle ex or a basic staller, then use Poké Ball to find basics while drawing into Baxcalibur through Professor's Research and Copycat. Rare Candy accelerates Frigibax directly to Baxcalibur, skipping the usual evolution step. Once a fresh Iron Bundle ex enters the active slot, Cold Start fires for 60 base damage plus a 20 bonus (total 80) and Paralyzes the opposing Active on that first attack. Chien-Pao ex provides an alternate attacker, and Giant Cape bolsters survivability on both attackers.

Cold Start only triggers its 20-damage bonus and Paralysis on the first attack after Iron Bundle ex enters play. Run two copies and cycle them — when one has already used Cold Start, retreat it and promote the fresh copy. Each rotation scores another Paralysis turn, locking the opponent out of attacking every other turn and letting you score knockouts safely.
Rare Candy skips the Frigibax mid-stage and lets you evolve directly to Baxcalibur. Prioritize this line in your draws via Professor's Research and Copycat. Once Baxcalibur is in place, its support effect amplifies what Iron Bundle ex can do each turn. Inflatable Boat provides additional board manipulation to keep your best attacker in the ideal position.
Cold Start's Paralysis is devastating when it lands, but it only locks the current Active. Using a switching Trainer — like X Speed to reduce retreat cost or another retreat option — lets you swap out the Paralyzed Pokemon and attack normally. Breaking the lock even once disrupts the deck's entire offensive tempo plan.
Baxcalibur is the deck's critical support piece. Knocking out Frigibax before Rare Candy can be played denies the evolution chain and scores a point. Without Baxcalibur online, Iron Bundle ex loses its key support structure and is left relying on base Cold Start damage of only 60 on subsequent attacks.
Iron Bundle ex is a Water type. Type-advantaged attackers deal boosted damage to it, turning what should be a two-shot KO into a one-shot. Charizard ex at 25% win rate for Iron Bundle confirms Fire types are effective counters. Forcing the opponent to take a boosted-damage KO on Iron Bundle ex scores 2 points and collapses the Paralysis rotation plan.
