Strategy Guide

Auto-generated

Espeon ex (140 HP) wins by chaining 80-damage Super Psy Bolt attacks while its Psychic Healing ability keeps your Pokemon alive long enough to score 3 points before the opponent can close the gap. The deck supplements Espeon ex with fellow Eeveelutions to cover multiple threats.

Open by using Poké Ball to find Eevee and bench as many basics as possible, then use Professor's Research and Copycat to dig for Espeon ex and supporting Eeveelutions. In the mid-game, promote Espeon ex to the Active Spot and begin using Psychic Healing each turn to undo chip damage while chipping away at the opponent's attackers. Once Espeon ex accumulates two psychic energy it fires Super Psy Bolt for 80 every turn. Finish games by using Cyrus or Sabrina to drag up threatening targets and score the knockout that reaches 3 points.

How to Play

Anchor Espeon ex and Heal Every Turn

Keep Espeon ex in the Active Spot once two psychic energy are attached. Use Psychic Healing once during your turn to heal 30 damage from the Pokemon that took the most chip damage. Giant Cape can boost Espeon ex's HP, extending the number of hits required to knock it out. Pokémon Center Lady buys additional healing when the ability alone is not enough.

Use Cyrus and Sabrina to Target High-Value Pokemon

Drag up the opponent's most dangerous benched Pokemon with Cyrus or Sabrina to score the knockout you need. Taking out an opponent's ex in the active spot scores 2 points in a single attack sequence, accelerating your march to 3. Time these trainer plays for the turn you have enough energy to finish the target.

Maintain a Flexible Eeveelution Bench

Bench Eevee early so you have evolution options as the game develops. Leafeon ex provides an alternate attacker that threatens different type matchups. Eevee ex and Sylveon ex add further coverage. Eevee Bag and Training Area appear in flex slots to accelerate the evolution line or energy attachment.

How to Beat This Deck

Apply Pressure Before Healing Stabilizes

Espeon ex needs two turns to attach energy and a third to fully exploit Psychic Healing. Aggressive one- or two-energy attackers that hit 80+ can force knockouts before healing comes online. Knock out Espeon ex early to score 2 points and put the Espeon player on the back foot immediately.

Target Unevolved Eevees on the Bench

Espeon ex's Psychic Healing only triggers when it is in the Active Spot. Bench sniping tools that threaten Eevee basics deny future evolution options and force awkward retreats. Each knocked out basic Eevee scores 1 point and removes a potential future Eeveelution threat.

Use High-Damage Attackers to Bypass Healing

Psychic Healing is a Pokemon Ability with no stadium dependency — it cannot be disabled by replacing a stadium. Attackers that can one-shot 140 HP completely bypass healing, making Dark- or Ghost-type attackers that deal 140+ in a single hit the cleanest answer to this archetype.
