You open by placing Terapagos ex directly as your Basic active or on the bench, then use Professor's Research and Lisia to build your hand. Swablu and Altaria provide support, while Magby, Pichu, and Mantyke sit on the bench to supply different energy types for Prism Impact's bonus. Once you have three Colorless energy plus extra energy types attached, Prism Impact deals 80 plus 20 per unique energy type, quickly reaching threatening damage thresholds. Giant Cape adds bulk to Terapagos ex while Area Zero and Ilima provide additional setup consistency.

Each additional unique type attached adds 20 damage. With two extra types beyond Colorless, Prism Impact reaches 120 — enough to two-shot most ex Pokemon and one-shot non-ex threats.
Terapagos ex's 150 HP is modest for an ex Pokemon. Attach Giant Cape immediately to increase its effective bulk. Sabrina can pull damaged opposing Pokemon into the active slot to secure knockouts before they can heal. Cyrus redirects problem attackers away from Terapagos ex, buying you the turns needed to load energy and fire.
Prism Impact's damage bonus depends entirely on the variety of energy attached to Terapagos ex.
