If you played a Supporter card from your hand during this turn, this attack does 50 more damage.
Silvally wins by using Brave Buddies — a Supporter-conditional attack that deals 100 damage for 2 colorless energy — to score consistent 1-point knockouts on non-ex targets without committing any energy-type requirement. The deck pairs Silvally with Skarmory for early board presence and layers disruption through Cyrus, Gladion, and Rocky Helmet to punish anything that tries to attack back.
Open by benching two Type: Null and as many Skarmory as possible; Poké Ball searches Type: Null immediately since it is a Basic. Use Professor's Research and Copycat to load your hand and ensure at least one Supporter is in hand each turn so Brave Buddies fires for 100 damage. Mid-game you rotate between Silvally attackers using the Supporter surplus to trigger the bonus consistently while Rocky Helmet chips the opponent for contact damage. In finishing turns Cyrus disrupts the opponent's bench setup and Gladion helps dig for critical pieces to ensure you never lose tempo on the Brave Buddies requirement.

Brave Buddies base 50 + Supporter-played bonus 50 = 100 dmg
Requires a Supporter card played from hand the same turn as the attack
The entire deck is structured around playing a Supporter each turn. Run Professor's Research, Copycat, and Cyrus in concert so you never end a turn without a Supporter option. Keep Gladion in hand as a fallback to search for missing pieces. A consistent 100-damage swing every turn is the fastest path to 3 points against non-ex targets.
Equip Rocky Helmet to Silvally or Skarmory so every opposing attack places damage on the attacker. This chips ex Pokemon toward KO thresholds that Brave Buddies alone might miss, and forces the opponent to either accept accumulating damage or waste turns retreating. Training Area and Giant Cape can tune the math further.
Silvally needs one Supporter per turn to deal 100 damage. Red Card disruption early in the game can strip the Supporter from the opponent's hand before they attack, limiting them to 50-damage Brave Buddies. With only two copies of Copycat and two Professor's Research in the core build, repeated hand disruption can completely silence the offensive engine.
Silvally scores only 1 point per KO and has no multi-target spread. ex Pokemon with 180+ HP survive multiple 100-damage Brave Buddies hits, meaning the opponent must commit several turns — and several Supporters — before scoring 2 points. The ex attacker can score 2 points in a single swing if it KOs Silvally, swinging the point race.
Silvally has a retreat cost of 1, but Cyrus can force it to stay active and take repeated damage before it can retreat to safety. Locking Silvally in the active spot while it has accumulated Rocky Helmet damage on the opponent lets your attacker swing for knockouts without risking your own ex Pokemon taking hits.
