A defensive Mega deck centered on Audino → Mega Audino ex's healing/tank profile, often paired with secondary attackers for prize trades.
This is a slow control archetype. Audino sits Active early with healing support, then evolves into Mega Audino ex once enough Energy is online. The deck wins by surviving long enough to grind out prize trades — cards like Pokémon Center Lady restore HP, and Sabrina forces wounded opponents Active for two-shot finishes.
Pokémon Center Lady and the Mega's own healing ability extend Mega Audino ex's effective HP well past 200. Don't attack until heal cards are in hand — survival is the win condition.
Sabrina forces a wounded benched Pokemon Active. Combined with Mega Audino ex's damage, you can pick off prizes while staying defensive on your own side.
Mega Audino ex takes Fighting weakness. A single Mega Lucario ex Aura Strike at 140 cleans through the heal stack and takes the deck out in one swing — instant 3 prizes.
Mega Audino ex needs 2-3 turns to set up healing. Aggressive turn-2 attackers can take prizes before the heal engine assembles.
Mega Audino ex relies on a finite stack of Pokémon Center Lady and similar. Sustained mid-damage pressure (Bellibolt ex chip) drains the heal supply faster than Mega Audino can attack back.
