Flip a coin for each Tandemaus and Maushold you have in play. This attack does 60 damage for each heads.
Flip 3 coins. For each heads, discard a random Energy from your opponent's Active Pokémon.
Maushold chains Family Beatdown for up to 60 damage per Tandemaus and Maushold in play, overwhelming opponents through sheer board-wide multiplication, or disrupts opponent energy with Triple Gnawing. The win condition is fielding the maximum number of the family line and flipping enough heads to score knockouts before the opponent stabilizes.
Open by filling your bench with Tandemaus and evolving into Maushold through natural draw. The deck runs Training Area and Ilima to accelerate setup, and a dense 1-of trainer suite (Sabrina, Cyrus, Guzma, Will) covers every situation turn by turn. Family Beatdown scales with each Maushold and Tandemaus in play, so your early turns are dedicated to populating the bench as fast as possible. Mid-game you attack with the primary Maushold while the supporting family members extend the damage multiplier. Giant Cape, Rescue Scarf, and Big Malasada ensure individual members survive longer to maintain the count.

Family Beatdown 60 dmg per heads flip; 1 Tandemaus + 1 Maushold in play = up to 120 dmg on two heads
Coin flip variance is the primary ceiling on damage output
Every Tandemaus and Maushold you add to the bench increases Family Beatdown's maximum damage. Prioritize using Poké Ball, Copycat, and Professor's Research in the first two turns to find Tandemaus copies and draw into evolutions. Training Area and Ilima accelerate the family count beyond what raw draw provides.
When the opponent is one or two energies away from a lethal attack, switch to the Maushold with Triple Gnawing. Even one heads on the three flips removes a random energy and delays their attack by a full turn. Red Card afterward can force a complete hand reset, compounding the disruption.
Each knocked-out Tandemaus or Maushold reduces Family Beatdown's damage ceiling. Even though each KO only scores 1 point, the cumulative damage reduction is significant. Splash damage or bench-targeting attacks that chip multiple family members simultaneously are highly effective.
When Family Beatdown produces tails, the opponent wastes their attack entirely. Aggressive decks should press hard on turns when variance works against Maushold, attacking through Rocky Helmet chip damage to prevent heals from negating the tempo swing.
Maushold's maximum practical damage output depends on both bench population and coin flips. Lunala ex's high HP means it can survive multiple below-average Family Beatdown turns while the opposing family is chipped away by your own attacks.
