Incineroar ex wins by evolving quickly via Rare Candy and then hitting 140 damage with Scar-Charged Smash once it takes any damage, knocking out most attackers in two hits and scoring 2 points per ex KO. Rocky Helmet chips the opponent while Incineroar ex absorbs punishment.
Open with Litten and use Poké Ball to find a second Litten or ensure a bench presence. Use Rare Candy to skip Torracat and put Incineroar ex directly into play as soon as possible. Attach Fire energy and use Fire Fang to apply Burn, which adds passive chip damage while you set up a second attacker. Once Incineroar ex has any damage on it, Scar-Charged Smash reaches 140 damage — threaten to knock out opposing ex Pokémon for 2 points each. Lillie can heal 60 damage from Incineroar ex when it needs recovery. Entei ex covers the turn Incineroar ex goes down.

Prioritize getting Litten onto the bench on turn 1 via Poké Ball. Play Rare Candy as soon as Litten has been in play one turn to place Incineroar ex directly. This skips the Torracat stage, compressing setup by a full turn. Professor's Research and Copycat dig for Rare Candy when it isn't in the opening hand.
Equip Rocky Helmet before Incineroar ex takes its first hit. When the opponent attacks into Incineroar ex, Rocky Helmet deals 20 damage to their attacker, and Incineroar ex itself takes damage — satisfying Scar-Charged Smash's condition. Your next attack then hits for 140, punishing the opponent for initiating contact.
A fresh Incineroar ex only deals 80 with Scar-Charged Smash. Attack it on the first available turn before it equips Rocky Helmet or accumulates chip damage. If you can knock it out in one hit before the bonus activates, you earn 2 points and force the opponent to rebuild the entire Stage 2 line.
Use Pokémon Center Lady or Lucky Ice Pop on your own Active to reset the damage that would trigger Incineroar ex's bonus. Keeping your attacker clean denies the opponent the Rocky Helmet KO retribution and forces Incineroar ex to rely on raw 80-damage turns.
The deck runs only 2 Litten and 1 Torracat. Use Sabrina to push Incineroar ex off the Active and expose a weaker Basic, or use Cyrus to pull a damaged Basic into the Active spot and knock it out before it evolves. If both Litten are knocked out before Rare Candy resolves, the opponent has no path to Incineroar ex.
