Calculate how many packs you need to pull any card in Pokemon TCG Pocket
Every pack in Pokemon TCG Pocket has 5 cards with fixed rarity slots. The final slot can contain any rarity from Rare to Crown Rare. Use this tool to calculate how many packs you'll need on average to pull a specific card based on its rarity and the pool size.
Each pack has a fixed pool of cards per rarity. For example, if a set has 15 Rare cards, set the pool to 15.

The first slots in every pack are guaranteed Common and Uncommon cards. You'll collect full playsets of these quickly without trying.
Rare cards appear in ~1 in 20 packs. EX cards (Double Rare) are about 1 in 60. These are the backbone of competitive decks and worth targeting.
Alternate art versions of existing cards. Beautiful collectibles but functionally identical to their regular versions. AR ~1 in 75, SR ~1 in 200.
The chase cards. Crown Rare (UR) at 0.04% is the rarest in the game. Immersive (IM) at 0.16% features animated card art. Both are purely collectible.
